Frequently aked questions
All tours are guided by one passionate local host whose mission is to share and spread the love for Olvera and ensuring that every visitor returns home with a sense of fulfillement.
My tours are designed especially for solo travelers, couples and small groups up to 7. Keeping groups small makes the experience flexible, intimate and fun. If your group of friends include a few more souls, no man overboard, but 10 is pretty much the maximum.
My city walks can be enjoyed in Dutch, English and Spanish and from 2027 on in German as well. Prefer to explore on your own? “La Ruta del Flash” – our self-guided photo treasure hunt – comes with all the printable materials in Dutch, English and Spanish.
All tours – except one – start at the Plaza de Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square), which is located alongside Calle Calzada, the street that leads you uphill toward the church and castle. “Olvera’s Grand Prix Tiki Tour” kicks off at the “Grand Prix” statue on Calle Pico, right by house number 62. Please head in the direction of the radio tower.
Yes, but tours are mainly designed for adults and teens. The “Grand Prix Tiki Tour” is the most playful option if you’re visiting with kids.
My tours run rain or shine. In the rare case of severe weather that makes the tour unsafe (extreme winds, thunderstorm), i will contact you to reschedule.
Olvera is a hilltop village with steep, cobbled streets. We strongly recommend:
Comfortable walking shoes are essential
Weather-appropiate clothing (hat, sunscreen, a jacket in winter)
A bottle of water
For the photo hunt, ensure your phone or camera is charged
